Amphor Pai is 135 kilometers from Chiang Mai and 111 kilometers from Mae Hong Sorn. Even though it will take about 3 hours of driving from Mae Ma Lai intersection, but the guests will experience one of the most beautiful driving scenery along the Northern hilltop of Chiang Mai and Mae Hong Sorn.
Following the sign of Baan Krating Pai Resort toward Belle Villa Resort, guests will cross a small Mae Nam Pai Bridge to see our Baan Krating All Day Dining Restaurant and the main entrace of our resort on the right.
The most attractive provinces in the Northern Thailand are Chiang Mai and Mae Hong Son. Normally, tourists often choose to visit Chiang Mai for a few days, before getting further to Mae Hong Son. A town of Pai is approximately 137 and 111 kilometers away from Chiang Mai and Mae Hong Son town respectively. This small town is, thus, like the midpoint of the long road and long journey.
Tourism at Pai started around 1987. Previously it was just a town to pass by, with only a few guesthouses. However, when more tourists discover the charm of this town from the friendliness of Pai people to the popular tourist attractions ranging from natural hot springs, waterfalls, and temples; whereas rafting along Pai river and Kong river is the most interesting activity tourists should not miss.
There are many interesting tourist attractions that tourists could visit on the way to Pai.

II. Huai Nam Dang National Park
Located about 40 kilometers away from Pai town, this national park has been popular and familiar among tourist for a long time. The highlight of this park is the scenery of Talay Mok, or the misty sea of ranges of mountains.
III. Mo Paeng Waterfall
Mo Paeng Waterfall is the second most beautiful waterfall after Mae Yen Water fall. It is only 9 kilometers away from Pai town, tourists could just drive a car or even a bicycle to this attraction. Mo Paeng Waterfall is a three-leveled, 10 meters wide and 15 meter-high Waterfall. The second and the third levels are pretty large and safe for swimming.
IV. Pai Canyon
Pai Canyon or Kong Lan is another interesting tourist attraction in Pai. The steep cliff has been eroded for a long time ago. The valley is 20 meters deep, amidst the scenic settings of the red hill covered with Dry Dipterocarp Forest and pine forest. It is better to visit in the early morning or later evening to avoid the extremely hot temperature in the afternoon.
V. Nam Hoo Temple
Wat Nam Hoo or Nam Hoo Temple is also an ancient temple of Pai Town. The temple was built in 1952 by a village headman and his people who have found
